Outreach

Educational outreach is a central concern of the Friends of Julian of Norwich and, to this end, talks and seminars are undertaken for groups of visitors and pilgrims. Those wishing to avail themselves of these opportunities are asked to register their request well in advance of their visit so that proper provision can be made.

The Friends also publish occasional booklets (including the texts of the annual lectures) and maintain an up to date stock of publications about Julian.

A Learning Project Officer will be in post in September 2008 and her/his primary task will be to increase knowledge of Julian through liaison with schools, colleges and other adult groups. Some of this work will be undertaken (as it already is) in association with Norwich Cathedral.
