| | The Order of Julian of Norwich is a religious order of monks and nuns following the practices of Christian monasticism. The order was founded in 1985 and is based in Wisconsin, USA. Its vocation is to creatively renew the traditions of contemplative and mystical spirituality in the Episcopal Church, and to be a living witness to Julian’s Revelations of Divine Love. Following the visit to Norwich by Fr Gregory, the current Guardian of the Order, in December 2007, it is hoped that much closer ties will be developed between the Friends and OJN. |
| | Scotland's Heather Innes and Ireland's Jacynth Hamill together form the Celtic a capella duo Caim, which was formed when the two got together to work on a collection of sung Celtic prayers based on the books of Canon David Adam, former vicar of Lindisfarne. The duo tour extensively, not only in the British Isles and Ireland, but also in mainland Europe, Australia, and North America. Heather and Jacynth accompanied Fr Gregory of the Order of Julian of Norwich on his 2007 UK tour, performing a selection of their songs at St Julian's Church, and working with Fr Gregory on a Music and Meditation CD. |
