Join the worldwide prayer network attached to the cell where Julian of Norwich lived and wrote her book.
The aim of the Friends of Julian of Norwich is to continue Julian's work of prayer throughout the world, to encourage interest in her book Revelations of Divine Love, and to help the work of the Julian Shrine through prayer and financial support.
Members are asked to join their prayers with those offered at the Shrine. Friends are prayed for regularly at Mass and Shrine Prayers.
The Annual Lecture takes place each year on the second Saturday in May and is followed by a Festival Eucharist at midday. Members then meet over a picnic lunch and this is followed by the Annual General Meeting of the Friends.
To join the Friends of Julian of Norwich you can take out an annual or lifetime subscription. This can be done online below through PayPal, or by contacting us at The Julian Centre. The current annual subscription is £7 and a life membership costs £50.
If you are a new Friend we will send you an introductory package of information and you will subsequently receive the Julian Newsletter twice a year with information and news about forthcoming events. You can also keep in touch through our website which is updated regularly with current news and forthcoming events.
If you take out an annual online subscription, this will be automatically renewed on the same date each year and the annual fee will be deducted from your PayPal account. The online facility can also be used by existing members wishing to renew their subscription.
If you are a UK taxpayer, please complete the online Gift Aid form as this enables us to increase the value of your subscription by 28%.
