Julian's Window

Sunday 24th January, 5.30 for 6pm

at St Julian's Church, St Julian's Alley
Rouen Road, Norwich NR1 1QT

Come and join us for an evening of informal Christ-centred worship. This is the first session of what we hope will be an ongoing programme in the sacred space at St Julian's church.

The evening will be held by David Stevenson, a priest from the parish of St John's with St Julian's, and Liz Day, co-ordinator of the Norwich Contemplative Forum, with support from local musicians and singers.

The plan is to develop a distinctive worship style:

  • with Taizé and chants from other sacred traditions.
  • reflecting on a theme from Julian's Revelations of Divine Love.
  • rooted in the contemplative tradition, with space for silence, meditation and stillness.
  • engaging with the natural world and being in sync with the cycle of the seasons.

Come and be part of the ongoing story, as we open up to Julian's mystical vision, and prayerfully explore what her message of love means for us in 21st century Norwich.
